In 2004 jelle began studying at the Conservatory of Antwerp. Here he has drums and vibes of Jan De Haas. Kurt Van Herck, Erwin Vann, Chap Verbist, Benoit Vanderstraeten, Hendrik Braeckman... for ensemble, Leon Lhoëst for Jazz harmony and - Analysis, Fré Desmyter for Hearing - and read practise and piano, Chris Joris for percussion and Chris Mentens for jazz history. Jelle plays with a few groups now. The El Créme Glace Quès and the Freddy Sunder Big Band. He also plays with a Brass Band 'De Kempengalm'. These gigs went through on o. a. festivals as Jobrock, Fiesta Mundial, SjwillieRock, Mano Mundo, Schil On Stage, world celebrations Bokrijk, StuDay, Festo Pesto and halls as Casino Capbreton (France), De Roma, Hof Ter Lo, Sikopi, Hall Lux, Hall De Kroon, CC luchtbal, Dockx Hotel, He already played with Toots Thielemans, Dan Allery, Freddy Sunder, Rico Zoroh, Peter Verbraken, Maurice Dean (has toured at the whole world and sung with o. a. Tom Jones), Frits Sundermann (Know with Laïs and Sioen, Raymond Van Het Groenewoud and Gunther Neefs. Workshops and masterclasses he followed with Monty Alexander trio, Bojan Z trio, Eddy Gomez, Hein Van De Gein, Andre Ceccarelli, Manuel Rochman, Dave Liebmann, Jim Black, Octurn, Lode Mertens, François Dechamps, Robert Verelst... Jelle gave lessons drum theory - and practise in a private school in Turnhout but stopped because he wanted to make more time for hes music.
