i have played across east tn. for the past 20 or so years. playing mostly in heavy rock bands until recently retiring to seclusion to write and record a more emotional genre. i write mostly melodic with a strong influence of blues and rock. of course the acoustic is always present whether its on the track or not. i always write with my j-50. i play a fender strat with digitech and yamaha effects thru b.a.d. and peavy. i would like for my peers to acknowledge my writing and musicianship but mostly my writing as i am first and foremost a writer. i sling my guitar and i am a true road warrior (i have eaten my share of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches) playing solo for the past 3 years has its disadvantages but it also has enlightened me to be more tolerant and appreciate what being "in a band" really means. i dont know who said it but" bless the past and forget it, bless the future and live fully in the now"
