Meet the family, Kinfolk of mine better known as kinfolk Alumni, One of the most talented rap groups to hit the local stages and newspapers stands in North Carolina. This group consists of five active members. Andre Martin aka Dre3k, Nicolas Martin aka Carolina Nicky, Orlando Bacon Jr. aka Kayo da Don, Andrea Martin aka Pnutt and Gregory Peeples aka big Pleazy also know as Swagg Daddy. Four of the members are from Winston-Salem, North Carolina and Kayo da Don Resides in Tampa Bay, Florida but he is born in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Just like most rap artist coming from the inner city is not an easy task but using the talents that God blessed them with as way out of the hood. Kinfolk of Mine have hopes of entering the world of mainstream entertainment. By leaning the ropes of the music business Kinfolk of Mine has launched an Independent Record label, Clothing Company and soon to add more to the list in the near future. Kinfolk of Mine basic methods of sounds are southern rap, crunk, new school, and old school funk. You can sense the influences of 8ball & MJG, UGK, Uncle Luke from 2 Live Crew, Outkast and other southern artist in their music. Some songs are based on life experiences while others songs push the imagination to the limits. You%u2019re going to want to bounce, shake, dance, fight, cry, and stand up for what you represent, most of all keep your family first when you hear their rhymes.
