Korben, lyrically provoking, musically malevolent towards a market bent on drowning talent. Layered in reposed vocals by Erin Gerber, cut intentionally by guitarist Chad Gerber, Korben will reach through any ear, grip it with edge, and shake music down through the soul. The L.A. based band has been writing and performing music since the age of fifteen years old. Now in their twenties they have taken their sound and performance to a level that only youth combined with experience could create. Korben believes setting musical limitations to the type of harmonies used, number of instruments in a track, and complexity of a chord progression, will enable them to effectively spark the human mind without saturating it, while preserving the audible pleasure to be gained by music. Often compared with guitars to the likes of White Stripes and Chili Peppers, mixed with the engaging vocals of a more aggressive Dido, Korben’s formula of music has already captured the attention of many listeners.
