  K Ryan was taken from first and middle names, because surprisingly,
  Kelly Smith refers to several known musicians! "To avoid confusion
  I decided to create an identity from my first and middle names"
  
  K Ryan was raised in a very musical family, from his mother he gained
  appreciation for classical, big band, and swing music. From his father
  he learned the spiritual and expresive background of bluegrass/Traditional Country and Gospel
  music. From his 6, yes 6 siblings all older then him, he was exposed to every generation of music
