Light Speed Approach, also known simply as LSA, are a Portuguese band from Lisbon, composed by an actor and a music teacher - Filipe (synthesizer, singer and guitar) and Frederico (synthesizer) respectively.

This duo appeared in 1997 and aims at innovation and the search for new sound dimensions. Not worried about labelling their sound, LSA claim that what they do is simply electronic music. Thus the band has drum’n’bass themes as well as techno and trance ones, being their main concern to do good songs.

The band has won several different prizes since their 1st appearance in public, such as “Best Techno Award” of the national newspaper DN in 97, and two years consecutively the “Roland European Groovegear Contest”, having therefore the opportunity to play live in Frankfurt, Germany in the International Fair, “Musik Messe” .

They had their Spice Runner track reviwed on Future Music Demos.
