My name is Linz Norris, I live in the Adelaide Hills in South Australia. I write and record songs in my small music room and since getting a 16 track recorder last year I have put together a lot of tunes - now some of them are ready to be released to an unsuspecting public.
I have had many influences over the years, my first record album was Deep Purple in Rock. I have always been inspired by guitarists like Jeff Beck,Jimmy Page and Richie Blackmore. My favourite songwriter is Neil Finn,others include Nick Cave, Joe Strummer. Elvis Costello and Nick Lowe.
I would describe my music as a blend of pop/rock/country/swampabilly. I play guitars,bass,keyboards and drum programs, and vocals on all tracks.
