When Marliese moved to the United States from Belgium about two years ago, she didn't know she was headed for a career in the performing arts. Born into a bilingual household, Marliese was able to communicate in her father's native English and her mother's native Flemish by the time she was five years old. Marliese's third language ....... she'd soon find.........would be music.

Having moved to a completely different part of the world, and after leaving family and friends behind, Marliese never felt she belonged, and was aggravated by a burning desire to return to Europe. During her first year in the U.S., she found it extremely difficult to reach out to others, and more importantly, to fit in. It wasn't until Marliese picked up a guitar for the first time that she finally found a comforting friend that would allow her to express everything going on inside her.

Although she's only been in the music business for a short time, Marliese is already making her mark and creating a buzz in the music world. It was late last year that she caught Dave Starr's (manager, artist, and producer) attention while recording a demo for a TV show.

Beyond Management has 100% belief in Marliese. When she sings, people listen. When she walks into a room, people stop to look. She has the potential to write songs that people can relate to and remember. It's music that gives her hope and a sense of how to understand and embrace all her experiences. Audiences witness this in her music and her songs connect with people. It won't be long until her music is played all over the U.S. and around the globe.

Marliese has determination and a hunger for music, and is already receiving a generous response! There are great plans in the works and an ultimate goal of a lasting career in the music and entertainment industry. She has been taking vocal lessons with the well-respected Ron Anderson in Los Angeles, and has recently come out with her new EP which is available on iTunes.

Most can't believe how talented she is even at her age, and are astonished that she can sing with so much conviction. Marliese can sing, write, play guitar, act, and has a uniquely creative look and personality that will set trends in many places. It is just the beginning for this magnificent artist that has the potential to reach the top.
