My name is Matt Shank. I was born in Williamsport, PA in 1991, but now live in Lock Haven. I am 13 years old. I have always loved music. My favorite bands when I was younger were Third Eye Blind, Everclear, Weezer, Johnny Cash, Fastball, Green Day, and, of course, the Beatles. I would always sing to the radio until someone in my family would yell at me. I got my first guitar in kindergarten, started taking lessons in 2nd grade, an after that point, music became my life. I loved every minute of it, as i still do now. I always loved singing. I love performing and playing for people. My acoustic guitar is without doubt the most important thing in my life (with some exceptions). My life is music. And many people ask me what my favourite song of all time is. That's a hard one, but "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" by Green Day has a slight advantage, in my opinion, over some others. But nearing this one is "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls, "Frayed Ends" by Midtown, and (we all know I have to put a Beatles song on this list) "Yesterday" by [You guessed it!] the Beatles.
