Matt McKay, a New England based guitarist, singer and songwriter. plays alternative acoustic folk and rock.

Matt has recorded, written and performed in his own bands and with members of Extreme, Van Halen, Aerosmith's Joe Perry Project, Steve Vai Band, Rick Berlin, Reba MacIntyre and other top artists throughout his career.

Recording projects include work with name producers Rick Slater, Phil Green and Shelly Yakus.

Matt recently finished a new acoustic CD on his Dark Matter Records label, and will be released in late spring.

Recent session recording projects include work on Paul Mangone's "Fly By Wire" which also includes a track by McKay and Mangone's former bandmate, Gary Cherone of Extreme and Van Halen.
