Meladesol features the soulful, yet funky singing duo of Terrell "Rell" Hawkins and Tyrone "Ty" Flemmings. Since 1999, this tandem of Philadelphia talent has been exploring their musical horizons.

The versatile duo seeks variety in their music - incorporating rhythm and blues, jazz and hip hop to form a unique sound. No two tracks are alike. Meladesol does not shy away from different genres of music. Hawkins and Flemmings create a fusion of melodies and harmonies attracting a diverse audience of musical tastes.

Hawkins and Flemmings have explored their musical talent by recording songs at the historic 'Gamble and Huff Studios' (located in Downtown Philadelphia.) While recording, Meladesol has worked with well known producers including Leon Huff Jr., Rick Williams and Johnny Chrome.

Meladesol has performed at numerous night clubs and open mic nights. In Philadelphia, they have performed at 'Five Spot', 'Clef Club', and South Street's 'TLA', just to name a few. Appearances in New York include a 'Do You' segment on BET's '106 & Park', and a performance at the legendary 'Apollo Theatre'. The group has also performed at North Carolina's 'Studio 74' as an opening act for Floetry. On stage Meladesol brings an aura that the audience can feel.

Meladesol is focused on creating an album of songs that reflects real life experiences. Their goal is to bring inspiration and uplift souls through their music.
