Thanks for visiting my artist page at Beta Records. About me: I currently sing at least 5 hours a week with three Chicago groups - a classical choir called the Apollo Chorus of Chicago (apollochorus.org), a semi-pro a cappella group called Lake Shore Jive (jazz, pop, oldies - see lakeshorejive.com), and am fronting a rock cover band called Wingman. We play a variety of current rock/pop/alternative tunes by artists like Pat Benatar, Fall Out Boy, Prince, Hole and Metallica, and have performed at popular Chicago bars such as Duffy's, Hi-Tops, McGee's, Famous Freddie's and more. I started singing when I was little, and studied voice in high school. I've been singing regularly with various choirs and bands for over 13 years, and want to continue with a band or a solo career. I appeared on a Chicago television vocal competition called "Gimme the Mike" on NBC, and was chosen out of over 500 contestants to appear as one of the top 25 on the tv show. I also competed in a local competition called Bar 1's Big Break, and made it to the final 6 out of hundreds of contestants.

I have a wide range of tastes and enjoy a lot of R&B, rock, pop and alternative music. Some of my influences and favorite artists include: Alanis Morissette, Garbage, My Chemical Romance, Queen, Aerosmith, David Gray, BNL, Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, The Killers, The Police, Melissa Etheridge, Melissa Ferrick, NIN, Violent Femmes, Nirvana, Whitney Houston and U2.
