We are Mental Block. Our style is a mix of blues, rock, and metal. There is some grunge and alternative rock in there everynow and then in there mixed with our style. The four of us have our own style that we combine together that gives us our unique sound. Tyler is hard rock and heavy metal. Max is mostly hard rock. Evan is metal mixed with a bit of punk rock. Then Cody is a mix of blues/rock/grunge/alternative rock/mid-nineties emo (weezer style emo if that helps). Finally Stephen. He's alternative rock/hard rock. Cody started forming the band back in January 2005 with drummer Alec Motley. Both searched for months for a bassist. Cody found bassist/singer Brent Meadows in July. Motley left the band in August due to work. Max joined the band in August as the bassist and Brent became just the singer. Then Tyler joined in September, and then Evan later joined in October. Due to certain circumstances Brent left the band in December. Cody's brother temporarily filled in the spot while we searched for a permanent singer. Stephen joined the band on February 3rd as the new singer and third guitarist. We are currently working on five songs. Hopefully we will have them up here for you in late February/Early March.
