Hi all.
My earliest musical memories date back to when I was at the age of 4. It was Christmas time and 2 of my presents were a ukulele and a toy drumkit. Man, I was one happy lad...
Later, at the age of 9, I found myself attending keyboard lessons to keep the family and guests entertained by playing their favourites on the family organ. I also participated in numerous contests and did quite well, winning many of the categories I entered..this was over a 5yr period.
When I turned 16 and left school and the family nest to venture into the big world of fending for myself I simultaneously was able to pursue my evolving passion for rock /pop. This included garage jams, 4 track recordings of those first compositions, party gigs etc...
After completing a 4yr apprenticeship and realising that this was not for me, I entered university as a mature age student to study, yep you guessed it, MUSIC ! My major was composition...now that was a fine time in my life..lotsa jam parties..well hey, you know what uni life is about...gigging included playing the drums for a uni covers band, keyboards in a jamband, and a bit of (my budding) singing...
So music is just something that I do without having to force it upon myself, so it stands to reason that it's what I'm continuiing to do as we speak....checkout the tracks and enjoy !
