Bryan Mansell has been working in the music industry for over 10 years now as both an artist and an engineer/producer. Bryan started out in Portland, OR. as the lead guitarist for several bands that mainly toured the Northwest. Eventually finding his calling as an engineer, he began recording local bands and working for a live sound company while attending Western Oregon University to study Music and what was known at the time as Electronical Music Engineering...later the industry would recognize this training as Pro Tools Certified. Eventually Mansell, found himself moving south to Tempe, AZ. where he attended the Conservatory for Recording Arts and Sciences for a year becoming fully certified in Pro Tools as well as SAE Smaart program, and many others. From there he moved out to L.A. and landed a job as an intern at Bay 7 Studios in the winter of 2004. It was there he got hired on as a runner and was given the opportunity to sit in on such sessions as My Chemical Romance, All American Rejects, and Queens of the Stone Age. Mansell was given the opportunity to work around some of today's leading producers and engineers such as Howard Benson, Joe Barresi, Mike Plotnikoff, and Eddie Kramer. From there, Bryan moved on to become a freelance engineer around Hollywood and was offered a position as the tour manager and Sound Engineer for the multi platinum award winning 80's rock band Warrant. At 26 years old, Mansell was the youngest International Tour Manager working in the industry For the past 3 years Bryan has toured on and off with Warrant as well as becoming the Head Engineer for Beta Records in Hollywood, CA. Bryan Mansell now resides in the San Fernando Valley and has a private home studio as well as working at Beta Records, and also works as a freelance engineer around various studios in the L.A. area. This site is kick ass even with it's problems. How do you know so much about the web design? Do you have connections with the ppl that run the site? It seems that you have quite a few connections. Have you had a chance to check out duttyslim's page yet? I think it may be a little outdated, but that's because he doesn't have as much internet access as he used to have. Is it true that you're a producer. I think the two of you would get along great then. That's what he is starting to get into
