Universal has been in the Hip-Hop world for 16 years creating ill beats and dope rhymes. Part of Strong Island super group Sub-Urban, Mr Uni Universal steps out as a prolific and inventive emcee/producer.

Sub-Urban released two lp's on strong island records (strongisland.com). The single "OooHweee" charted in Billboard magazine Single sales chart. Video game company Acclaim licensed six songs for the games "Nba Jam" and "Freestyle Soccer". Sub-Urban opened up for many acts like, Fabolous, Angie Martinez, Funk Flex, Naughty by Nature, City High, Slick Rick & Doug E. Fresh, X-Ecutioners, 112, Def Squad, Lil Mo, Etc...
