Jo Franklin, was born in Bogota, Colombia, in the verry the heart of a civil war withing social political movements and narco political drug lords. Arround the same time Pablo Escobar was running the colombian cartels, he was raised in Suacha (southern barrio of Bogota) by Social Activist parents who at the time were considered 'Leftist Guerrillas' aka Public enemie number one ! He grew up and was raised in revolutionary ways, his living, his visions, his thoughts, his music reflects all that still goes on today.

Today, He's begun his revolution and has gone way beyond the dream of a 6 year old Colombian born boy raised in a war he'd always thought he'd die in. He uses his music, his living, his art to share and express his overthrowned political mindstate with a disturbing BOOMING sense of mainstream musical orientation.
