With over 80 show dates under their belts in just over a year, Nonthought remains on the move, having been summoned by venues in Chicago, Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana. They have been featured on WQLZ - 92.7 fm (Springfield, IL) on multiple occassions, including being awarded "Best Rock Band". Nonthought is a very talented independent rock/metal band with an individual music style and driven attitude.

Nonthought is five unique and individual entities combing as one to a celestial rhythm. Hailing from the capital city of Springfield Illinois, the quintet has been manipulating music since January of 2003. Having been together only a short period of time, it is apparent that karma has played a role in providing them with the tools of success including a tightness that is usually obtained after a much longer relationship.

Nonthought is Steve Poe-Vocals, Eric Wassell-Lead Guitar, Tim Hooker-Bass, Lee Knecht-Guitar, Garret Wassell-Drums.

They have taken their different musical backgrounds and melded them into a unique and cryptic sound. With the dark and painful lyrics, the melodic yet harshly heavy guitar riffs, the experimental and temperamental bass riffs, and the dramatic and thundering drumming. Nonthought has gained an incredibly stong following throughout Central Illinois and beyond.

Nonthought has had the opportunity to open for National Bands such as American Head Charge, Clutch, Pissing Razors, Fu Man Chu, High On Fire, Slitheryn, The Pimps, & Magna-Fi (currently touring with Sevendust)
