Northern League is Connecticut based rappers A.B and Keith Lo. A.B was the lead MC for 3-time battle of the bands winners Poets of Soul. While with P.O.S., the group performed at numerous clubs and events such as New York’s own Lions Den, which lead to P.O.S. opening up for De La Soul.

Keith Lo, who in his teens performed on the world famous Show Time at the Apollo was honing his skills in the north, becoming a force on the local freestyle scene, A.B with his fly style and arrogant delivery was the perfect complement to Keith Lo’s gritty b-boy bravado, With mutual respect for each others skills, the rappers were planning on forming a new group when A.B reconnected with long time friend and producer FS of Ming+FS. Taken by the duos chemistry they wasted no time in recording. This led to the group signing to Madhattan Studios production imprint.
