My sound and music for purposes of paper can be placed in several genre categories. My music would fall under classical contemporary, classical new age, soundtrack (which is my favorite) and even popular (today's top 40). My primary tools for composing being the piano, French horn and my deep love for the strings, I try to integrate the three together in all of my newer works to create a rich blend of music that appeals to the senses.

The people who have achieved greatness in my field and who I admire are the people I claim as my influences and my inspiration to achieve, pursue and accomplish. James Horner, James Newton Howard, John Williams, Simple Plan (Untitled) and Mandy Moore have shaped, created and inspired me. Each composer/artist has a different attribute. James Horner combines the piano with the richness of an orchestra creating the brilliant scores of today's movies. James Newton Howard has a similar style to Horner, but unique in his own way. He has an ability to be dramatic using very little as it was with House of Sand and Fog. John Williams has a knack for taking something and turning it into a masterpiece even if it is just a few chords. Simple Plan's Untitled has an allure for me particular because it also utilizes the strings, piano and dramatic affects using the timpani. Mandy Moore is another musical influence because of the song Only Hope from A Walk To Remember.
