OneBlueFlame is a name used to represent a person's inner knowledge and quest to find oneself. The idea for the flame came from a burning candle. The core center of the candle has the most energy. It is visual through the blue flame, which is also symbolic toward something powerful within people. "I knew that this idea had fueled me to create music that would open people up a bit. I grew up believing that I wanted to inspire people. I knew I could do this with music, " Kari explains.

The music that comes from OneBlueFlame is quite relaxing. It is unpredictable and holds no certainty to where it will lead the listener. With Kari's soothing, melodic voice, and Brandon's uncanny ability to pull transcending guitar solos, you find yourself taken away into your own mind. It has a bit of an ethereal quality and a punch of rock exploding every so often in the music. It's very emotional. "I want to strike a chord in the heart with the listener. I want to give them something that can be taken with them after listening to our songs." Brandon expressed.

OneBlueFlame continually challenges contemporary music while trying to transcend the listener to a deeper level into the core of the soul.

OneBlueFlame is currently working on their full-length CD album and some of their music is inspired by The Resurrection of Light by Anthony Mora and Rachel Tribble
