Lamar Paid & Antonio Cash were raised in a family deeply embedded in music. They have always had the ambition to succeed to the highest level in the music industry. Wanting to do so, Lamar Paid & Antonio Cash realized that it would have to start with just a mic. With the talent of writing songs, creating original music, and vocal ability, the only thing left is a mic.

Tampa, Florida. Considered by the industry to be a dry spot for music gives Paid -N- Cash even more drive to take the industry by storm. "We want to show the industry, the nation, and the rest of Tampa that good music can come from anywhere, as long as the group/artist is given an opportunity." Lamar Paid states. "Each time someone tells us we cant make it happen, we make it happen better than anyone before. When people choose to turn a deaf ear towards our sound, we make more people listen. Influenced by their mother Shelia Upshaw, these guys have been given versatility within their unique style. Shelia Upshaw is well known singer around the Tampa Bay area. She has performed the national anthem numerous times before sold out Tampa Bay Buccaneers crowd. She was a member of the Gospel act "Redeemed" in the early 90s, and continues to shine her light today.

On September 23, 1986 Shelia Upshaw gave birth to Rashad "Antonio Cash" Upshaw, who was later followed by the birth of Carlos "Lamar Paid" Upshaw. After realizing the gifts past down to her children, she raised these two young men to pursue any and all of their dreams and supported them non-stop since.

Paid -N- Cash posses gifts of producing; vocal harmonization, composing original music, song writing, and arranging vocals. This is the package to help the industry become respected more and more as time goes on.
