I'm a singer/songwriter and member of ASCAP. I'm originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and I now live in Port Huron, Michigan. I majored in commercial music and minored in piano and voice at Anderson College in South Carolina and I've been writing and performing since junior high. Last year I wrote and entered the song "I Won't Forget" in the American Idol Songwriters contest for season 6. And although I didn't make the top 20, I had no regrets. It was a wonderful experience for me and I met some of the nicest people from around the world during that time. It inspired me to continue writing and performing. Last October I had the honor of performing in a Toys For Tots benefit concert that really helped me get my feet wet again and I met some really talented and wonderful musicians/songwriters. I was also included in a charity compilation cd entitled "HITS THEY MISSED" with other very talented songwriters who, like myself, were entered in the contest with American Idol. Produced by LUANNE HUNT and SEAN GASAWAY with JOHN BASS of ARCTIC SOUND STUDIOS, the album was released in September of '07 and received international attention inlcuding "Album Pick" from the International Songwriters Association.
