Growing up in a musical family 'the Pro' started playing piano, guitar and bass at an early age. Growing up in a small town he eventually felt confined by the cover band scene and the metal head purists there. He simply had a different sonic vision than most people around him at that time. Hearing music in his head that blurred the edges between styles and mixed things that most wouldn't think of, made it hard to relate and work with others. "I didn't think compromising was an option. I heard something in my head that I liked and wanted to share." This eventually brought him to chicago and DJ'ing. He honed his skills on the decks at parties, clubs, area theaters and venues, but still fell a bit short of his ideal. "I felt like I was getting there but I was always hearing new sonic directions that I couldn't attain on the decks." Then by chance he met two truly awesome producers who taught him about computer based music production and steered him away from the heavy use of samples. After this his music and career changed forever. "I could finally realize what I heard up in my gourd! I've been at this for a long time and feel like the music I'm putting out now is really me! It's extremely gratifying to get such wonderful feedback from so many when you are putting it out there straight from the heart to peoples' ears."
