Short, fast, and to the point are the words that best describe Halifax’s Raygunomics. This 4 piece plays fast aggressive punk music that will make you think. With numerous lineup changes over the past year and a half, Raygunomics is on its second drummer, third guitarist, and third vocalist but has finally settled down into a comfortable position with its current lineup and are ready to take action and get things done. Even though they’ve gone through so many members, the song writing has remained consistent, both musically and lyrically, with songs tackling political and social issues such as the neo-conservative domination of North American politics and child abuse.
Raygunomics has opened for great touring bands such as The End, Closet Monster, GFK, and Cancer Bats, as well as many local favorites. They have developed a strong fan base in the Halifax all-ages scene and touring around the province, the band is currently focusing on expanding their fan base in Halifax’s bar scene and preparing to tour Canada while entertain and inform people who enjoy their music.
They have recently release their 12-track debut album “Capitalize, Capitalize, Capitalize” and are currently devoting themselves to writing new material.
