I have been performing as a semi-pro guitarist for over 20 years, mostly jazz/blues idioms, and in the last 8 years I've been getting heavily into Contemporary Christian Rock. I cut my musical teeth on a wide diversity of artists from Rush to Carlton to Metheny to Trower to Segovia to Vollenwieder. Despite such an eclectic blend of musical influences, there has been only one important factor in my life; you guessed it, Jesus Christ. I perform, write and perform all for His glory. I chose the band name "Red Letter Day" because I think that it reflects the importance of Jesus' words to all Christians, so much so that his words are often published in bibles called 'red letter editions'. Also, a 'Red Letter Day' is a special day of celebration and I believe that each day of a Christian's life is a celebration of Jesus' work on the cross and so each and every day becomes a 'Red Letter Day'.
