Roosevelt Dean, was born either in Georgia or Alabama, depending on who you ask. He's anywhere from 53 to 63 years old, again depending on who's doing the talking. But even if were not sure where he was born or how old he is! We know one thing for sure....he sure can play and sing the Blues. Rosie is what his friends and fan's call him. While Rosie can wail out all the classic blues songs, most of his performances are of his own compositions which show his diversity as they vary from the Delta Blues to R&B to his favorite sound the Chicago Blues. Though his guitar and harmonica playing really gets the crowds hopping, it is his rich voice that gets to their souls, as evidenced by the fact that Walt Shepard, editor for the "Syracuse New Times" named him "The Voice of Syracuse"
