  BIOGRAPHY Entertaining audiences for over 30 years, singer / songwriter Russell continues to offer a blend of music that includes contemporary folk with a blend of acoustic rock. In Each concert Russell performs his music, music of local singer/songwriters and features all of the songs/music from one of John Denver’s recordings. Russell grew up in Rockford, Minnesota and was the ninth of 14 brothers and sisters. He recorded his first album in 1977 and his second in 1981. During this period of time he toured extensively, performing concerts at colleges, fairs and youth events across the United States. In 2001 Russell released the single “Rise Up” and has nearly completed the mixing and mastering of his new CD "DREAMLAND" that will be released in 2008.
