• Obtained Geetabharati degree from Geetabitan and stood 1st class 2nd with highest marks in vocal demonstration with distinction.



• Received formal training in classical music primarily from father –RathindraNath Thakur and at present from Pandit Gour Bhattacharya.


• Received formal training in Najrulgeeti primarily from mother –Chhaya Thakur and at present from Mrs Purabi Dutta.


• Passed degree 5th year in Najrulgeeti with 1st class from Suronandan Bharati



• Received training in Bengali Adhunik songs from Shree Jatileshwar Mukherjee for more than a year.


Performed many programmes in Bengali folk songs in AIR Calcutta as a member of Dotara Shilpi Goshthi under the guidance of Mrs Milu Bhoumik.


1st audio cassette in Bengali folk songs released at 2005 from Golden Voice named Bhromor Koio Gia. For which received training from Sri Amar Pal also.


Perfomed at many public functions in India and abroad since the age of 8 yrs and it is still going on.


Perfomed Bengali Folk Songs at the Bijaya Sammilany of the Durga Puja of Switzerland at 2005.
