My name is Saukar...that's my real name (I'm too old to be making up fakenames for myself). I produce, compose, mix & arrange music in a wide rangeof different genres (electronica, jazz, Hip-Hop, R&B). I'm the owner ofHeatholders Music Association, and independent production company with mebeing the owner & only employee. I've been using Orion Platinum for about5 years.I got my start in music at a VERY young age. I grew up listening to alldifferent ranges of music from my late father, who was a jazz fanatic. Istarted playing guitar at around 11 or 12 and started writing songs andperforming locally at talent shows & such. I also did the high school bandand choir thing. Pretty much anything music oriented I tried to grab ahold on to.After becoming disillusioned & wanting a guaranteed check I dropped out ofmusic for awhile. Still having the "bug", I starting rapping & MCing withfamily and friends and got to be pretty good. Having low money & not a lotof options available to be heard was putting a damper on everything so Istarted finding out how people used computers for music. My first programwas CUbasis. I was such a rookie...I knew nothing about computers at alland was compeletely confused. AFter awhile of trial and failure, Iself-taught myself everything there is to learn about making music on thecomputer (and about recording, mixing & arranging in general) to get outmy ideas and to help others do the same. This year, I have started my ownbusiness producing others using just the computer! Wow how times havechanged!My little brother, Mensah (who is also going to be producing music) caughtwind of the demo of Orion at first and then I seeen it. It was love atfirst sight :) Now I use Orion for all of my composing in addition to allfo the free VST plugins that are all over the internet.THe first CD I have released is "Autopilot" the jazz CD. This is more of achillout\CD. I have 5 other CD's that will follow this year: "Break TheRules" (electronic), "Underestimated" (Hip-Hop), "NSMC'C" (Hip-Hop), "OutFor Justice" Hip-Hop & some other production in the works when I squeezein the time. On all CD's, the music has been written, arranged & mixed inOrion Platinum.
