SCARLET WHORE, part of the BLOOD SYMPHONY RECORDS family, was formed in Feburary, 2004 by alumni of such St. Louis metal bands as Dark Illusion and Synaxis. The band's dark tones and heavy subject matter are reminicent of such 80's and 90's thrash bands as Anthrax and Overkill, while employing influences as diverse as progressive metal and funk. These elements are combined into an original sound rarely heard today.

Their songs weave tales that are at times disturbing and at other times humorous. Tackling such subjects as revenge, drug abuse and dark magick, SCARLET WHORE has continued to remain true to their metal roots with an uncompromising attitude and a determination to be the best at what they do.
