Scotty Green is a songwriter, producer, poet and recording artist form Chicago's Southside. After years in the basement drinking and writing and drinking his friends have finally convinced him to step out from the dark basement (with cheap Vodka in hand) and share his work with the world. He’s been described by critic’s as a blue collar scholar. His work is an interesting mixture of profound urban poetry with some infectious bass filled chilled out rhythms. His subject matter is always creative, interesting and so honest it’s almost uncomfortable. Song concepts such as God talking to a baby moments before its birth, A father’s last letter to his son just before his death, troubled relationships, real life relatable struggles and profound revelations.
