Screech, born Jose Rubio on December 26, 1988, is an artist who appreciates music. He likes all genres of it, from Mariachi to Rock, Reggae to Merengue. But his true passion can be found in Hip Hop. Even at a young age he would make his own playful songs. Although Jose is better known for his raps he describes himself as a poet first He is recognized for his poetry by the International Society of Poets.

Through his music, it is not difficult for one to envision what he is portraying. Not only do his lyrics relate to him, but they can also translate to society. From club music, to soulful, and political to lyrical, he can deliver it all. Jose also has the ability to rap and freestyle fluently in both English and Spanish. When asked about his abilities, he replies, "I just let it flow, don't even think about what I'm going to say, just when I'm going to jump in".
