SLIM JINGO was formed in first part of 2005 by Tuomas, Valtteri and Mikko from ruins of their old band Flypaper For Freakz. Today group has played few gigs and released two self financed EP´s "Studio Sessions 2005" and "Happy Sonja".

Slim Jingo was born on the ruins of late Flypaper For Freakz when Tumppi and Leeni desided to keep making music, but this time with different approach. All this happened in year 2004. Radical change in music and few new faces made it reasonable to change the name also.
FFF played nine gigs together.

The first recording was made in summer 2005 in analog Red House Studio. This session was the first time when band tested saxophone in the line-up. This demo was called "Studio Sessions 2005" it had five track on it. Next year gave us a new drummer and in summer 2006 we were in same studio again. With this session, band found the Slim Jingo sound. "Happy Sonja" was named after the opening track.

In december -06, one of the founding members, guitarist Mikko Kummala left the band for other duties and we desided to continue with one guitar. Now after few line-up changes and one serious accident, band is rolling with full steam again.
During the summer Antti will leave band for other duties and Jussi (from Jääkaappi-Pakastin Yhdistelmä and Tesstiryhmä) will overtake the saxophone duties.
