Syngularity was founded in 1997 with the intention to create rhythmic electronic themes, accompanied by excursions to the symphonic/soundtrack genre and experimental music. After the start as solo performer with some hardware devices and software tools, Pascal Gregory began to invite singers and instrumentalists he met in Germany and the worldwide web as well.
Besides this turn to more collaborations and stronger inclusion of pop, a serious tradition of the project always was the release of annual albums for collaborators and friends.
The most important partner for the project always is co-writer and arranger Minouche, who created with Pascal the track “Sensual Moves” in 2004, that was among the winners of a competition of Besonic.com – Jon Lord was a member of the jury - , and was chosen as a part of the musical background for the exhibition “Olympia, Art and Greece” at the Airport Gallery in Frankfurt a. M., Germany, August 2004.
Pascal is an active member of several music communities. Syngularity won the IOM Nomination Awards 2005 for best production, electronic artist, collaboration and scout (International Online Music Magazine).
