Syrant is a band based out of Detroit Mich. Syrant was formed in the late 80's.The band has played every Detroit venue a number of times over the years, and was proclaimed one of the best energetic metal acts around. After a 7 year break the band reunited for a reunion show. It went so well the played three more shows, started writing new songs booking new shows, then in December of 06, Lead vocalist Steve Pirrone was involved in a bad car accident. His neck was broken and is now paralyzed for the neck down with some arm movement. Syrant planned a benefit show with Brian Thomas (From a Long time top Detroit band Halloween) to sing. It went so well Brian stayed on to write to new songs. Coming Back (A song dedicated to Steve) and Ride (A metal ballad)Now Syrant pushes on with plans to go into the studio and cut a new cd with Brian, and that's where we are now.
