Tha Merchantz hail from Denver Colorado. There are five original members in the band. Myself, a.k.a. Streetwise MC, and my closest friends Spazmatik, Scorch, Don Sosa, and formerly Dezert. Don Sosa and Streetwise produce all our beats, and we all rap. We've known each other for ten years, and have been writing songs together for the last six. We are currently in the process of building up our label "Merchantz Entertainment LLC" , preparing for the release of Streetwise & Spazmatik upcomng album, and the 3rd Merchant album, and have been doing alot of shows locally and regionally. Our 2nd LP Merchantz: The 2nd Coming was released July 17th and is available @ Independent Records, Virgin Records, And Angelo's Cd's and Tapes, and our 1st LP "Tha Merchantz: Money'$ Worth" is also in a store near you 2!!!
