The funk rock blues sound that The Mood conveys is reminiscent of bands like Jimi Hendrix and The Doors with a modern flair influenced by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Our slick brand of alternative blues rock is played with skill and precision, which is a pleasant and unexpected surprise for audiences since all of us are under 20! Made up of twins Cody and Chase Stringfield, Ian Ribble and Austin Peters, The Mood has found a successful balance between playing at charity events, festivals and shows, and attending school. Together for two years, we have already defined our style, our sound, and made a place for ourselves in the local independent musical landscape by taking three wins in the Bodog Battle of the Bands contest and moving to the final round competition at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland and a spot on the FUSE reality TV show.
