  The Universal Mind Decoder: Keeping the sound of the Golden Era of rock alive.
  
  Songwriter and lead vocalist/guitarist Chris Sherman drew upon the idea to create a style of music the way it used to be and began demoing songs in the Summer 2004. This mind-bending music, along with a string of solo local performances, convinced Leah Cinnamon to join on bass and by mid 2005 the Universal Mind Decoder was in full bloom.
  
  Fueled by a love of real rock music, UMD is hoping to win over a large audience with creative songwriting and a vintage, yet modernized feel that is lacking in today's stale world of music. Their songs can be downloaded from iSOUND.COM and from MySpace.com. The songs featured on these sites are also available on their albums, 1 and 2, which are available at all shows, as well as by mail order.
  
  It takes a mix of a passion for rock n roll, a very creative mind, and a powerful artistic drive to succeed in the music world. With the Universal Mind Decoder, these qualities are not only apparent, but in full force. So check out the Universal Mind Decoder, give them a listen- who knows, it may just expand your mind.
