In August of 1974, serial killers Charles Ng and Leonard Lake were tried and convicted For the murder of over 20 women. Appalling videos were found showing these perverse men mutilating their bodies. Later, a jigsaw puzzle of a body was found. Charles Ng and Leonard Lake were taking body parts from different women to construct the perfect women; her name was Miranda .In October of 2004, two long-time musical allies began work on a similar but much less grotesque project. By combining the melodic yet scathing guitar work of Matt Barrus and the assaulting thunderous bass of Trent Myers, the two knew they had the beginnings of an incredibly brutal music force. Through the alliance of the radio and the internet, the next two donors were summoned from the same household. Josh Lauscher's forbidding screams and Jimmy Rockstar's harrowing guitars complimented the other elements in a way that was both awe-inspiring and terrifying. All that was missing was the back bone. This was supplied by Jodey, the newest donor to the terrible force that is The Miranda Project .
