  Theola Bright..the versatile entertainer affectionately known as the "Queen of Arts". She has been nominated as ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR by Miami Music Awards for her innovative approach to music and poetry known as "spoken word".
  
  This actress, artist, educator, entrepreneur, fashion and hair designer, poet, playwright, producer, writer and vocalist is a motivational speaker who has been an Artist-In-Residence for the State of Alabama since 1990. It is not unusual for Theola to mix dance, music and poetry into her speaking engagements if it will help her to get the message across to her audience. She call her speaking engagements, "Musical Lectures".
  
  Theola Bright is the author of three books of poetry and the independent producer of three albums of music. Her poetry and music are produced from the inspirations she receives from her inner spirit…they have no special classification or box to fit into because Theola uses various kinds of music to set the mood and she writes on many subjects that most people are reluctant to discuss. She is out spoken and opinionated, "Yes, I am opinionated, but I base my opinions on my experiences and God's word…the Bible", she says.
