The history of The Pioneers is not yet very long. The band started in January 2005 and was meant as a project band for the UKM (a culture contest for youngsters.) But after playing for a while the members understood that the world had to be saved from Listepop.. But now the tables has turned and they are changing their message to the world, the message is not about destroying something horrible, but to create something beautifull!! We are talking about hard, catchy, kick-ass rock n roll.. Since the start of 2005 the band has played many gigs in a short period. And has now recorded a new EP in the Imperial Sound studio in Stavern. And will soon go back record the "Russe-Låt" for "Larvik-russen 2006".. They are looking forward at many years of rock n roll where ever the world will bring them!!
