    Message to the tribe:
    One of the characteristics of music, as with any art, is that it is subjective. The term IDM, or Intelligent Dance Music, I believe, could mean just about anything. In my opinion, the term is not used to establish an "elite" music style that is "better" than "stupid" dance music. It is merely used to establish the idea that the creating artist may have succeeded in causing a listener to use imagination and maybe even visualization.
