Vic Matthews and Rick Moore....

The whole thing came together while we both worked as mechanics for the Queen City Metro Company in Cincinnati in late 1976 and early1977. Vic had a music studio in his house in Harrison, Ohio. Vic wanted to use this place for composing, so I decided to write lyrics and sing along with him. With some exceptions, like "Gina" and "Cherie", most of my lyrics were from vivid dreams and nightmares that I had at the time. Vic liked my unusually strange lyrics and I liked his musical hooks and sound-on-sound effects, so we merged them together in hopes of making it as big recording stars someday.
We sent the music to Cincinnati radio station WEBN, who produced annual record cuts of local talent called The Album Project. Every year we received letters and certificates that always stated "try again next year, because you were runner ups". We kept writing, playing and recording music until the early 80's, then things just fell apart.
In late 1996, I met up with Vic at his new house in Middletown, Ohio. He was building computers for himself and others as a sideline. He decided to put some of the old music on compact disc as a memory of things past. I added the artwork to the CD which we called "Dreams of Blue Sky", the name of the song that we thought would propel us into musical stardom.
We were, and are, strictly a songwriting team. This is bare-bones composition songwriting, so don't expect pianos, drums, etc.
We recorded approx. 100-150 songs during that time period, and these songs will be released as soon as they can be transferred from the master tapes.
