I feel that current music mandates the existence of a new style. My goal is to take the listener on a musical journey through various routes. Some mean something and use music to achieve such a feeling/thought/etc. Others are simply music derived. I envision rich, catchy, melodic tunes. Some dissonant, some consonant, some neutral or ever changing. I have a music background. I took guitar lessons for a few years starting when I was in 7th grade. I didn't do much besides play guitar until around 2000. In 2000 I started producing music. That's when my horizon expanded. I can now play keyboards, I can DJ, I can play drum machines. I'm no stranger to a computer. I feel instrumental music is underrated, and that there is much more of a market for it than most realize. I underatand how to take a sound and alter it to fit the vision of my track. Started back in 2000 making mainly instrumental tracks. Vie Chang tracks are part automated, and part live. Generally, I build them from scratch. I like a more natural sound. If it sounds automated, it's robotic. I think the sound of real instruments is much kinder to the ear.
