Walt Winston, the most successful of all of the members of The Waltles, continues his success here on the Folk Music scene, with now 30 #1 hits. Walt now has released, his new album "Retrospective Chaos", trying to top his best album, "The Sun Will Rise Again." which has 11 #1 Hits on Beta Records' Folk Music Charts, and Walt was the last American Artist to hold the #1 single on Beta's Old website, and now he along with other folk musicians have many charts to conquer in the Folk Music scene, as Beta Records now has many new Folk Music Charts for Folk Music Fans to see their favorites from. Walt Winston was born on December 26, 1964 in St. Louis, Missouri and has had a successful radio career as well as his successful music career at the same time. In 1988 Walt wrote and recorded his biggest hit in his solo career, "I'm Sailing Away..." and produced an album with the same title. Walt formed his band The Waltles in 1989 with several lineup changes but the lineup that became a legend in St. Louis was Winston, Chris Noblin, and Scott Eastabrook with songs like "Knock At My Door" , "Turn The Page", "Before The Fall", "Somewhere In St. Louis", and ".44 Blues". The Waltles lasted about three years and Walt moved from St. Louis to pursue his radio career, and now a career in the Trucking Industry. Walt reformed The Waltles with Pat Shout and James Vincent and the trio became household names in Northern California performing favorites like "Knock At My Door", "Paper People", and a recorded version of "Before The Fall". Walt eventually went back to the St. Louis area and reformed The Waltles with Chris Noblin and a few other members that came and went.
Walt has released Six brand new albums in 2009, titled "18 Wheels Of Mayhem", "Vices", Happiness Alley", and "Interstate One", "Living In The Shadows," and "Retrospective Chaos"..
Walt was a professional Truck Driver as he has earned his Commercial Driver's License or CDL, and is now continuing, his tour with his big rig which will end very soon, as Walt is now leaving the trucking profession.
