The Band was founded in 2003 under another name, but decided to start new in autum 2004 with Andreas Zocsich on drums. The name XenesthiS was also stimulated by Andreas, who is a fan of spiders- Xenesthis is the grecian description of a sort of tarantula. After two months of playing with eachother, XenesthiS recorded their DemoCD "Immanis" in their rehearsal room. The next nine months XenesthiS spent their time playing live shows. In autum 2005 the winner of the second prize of the bandcontest America is waiting 2005 decided to record at a sound studio another DemoCD "Straight to Infinity" to document the status quo. 2006 XenesthiS hit the stage again and performed their assmoving set for example at Metalcamp 2006 in Tolmin/ Slovenia. Their new EP "Shades" will be out in november 2006.
