He goes by the name Y.O (young one), 19 years old born in Los Angeles in the projects on the East Side. He began rapping at age 16. After losing his cousin due to street violence in March 2007, his death was a reality for him and it drew him closer to his love for music. "Music was my dream, music was his dream it was something we both enjoyed doing". Growing up with negative surroundings made him temporarily move in the wrong direction but music made him realize he can much further succeed in life. He is what you call the definition of hard work. He spits the truth and he says what's real to him. To Y.O music is an expression from the soul. He writes all of his own lyrics from the heart. He's influenced by TuPac, J Guta, and Hipost. Y.O has performed at all the major clubs in Hollywood and has toured as an open act for artist such as (E40, The Clipse, Nelly). His plans as an artist are to influence other young rappers to pursue their dream.
