Ya Average Nobody, says alot, but it still doesn't convey the full meaning of the individual know as Yan Doe. Who is this cat that has you saying I've heard him before? The people's lyricist, Yan does just that, talks to and for the people. With a sound that deserves airplay, and lyrics that have you thinking about what is really going on around you, Yan is far from average. This rapper/ producer/ songwriter is very laid back cat, but is definitely in your face. His tracks have been called cerebral, and provacative, because no doubt, you will not be able to stop thinking about his tracks as you go through your day. Yan has the ability to make club tracks with a message, and others that make you smile because you know you just saw what he was talking about. Born in Opelika, Alabama, Yan now resides in Reno.
He has produced tracks for a number of local artist including Fight Club Inc, Masse, Lethal Records, and D4L, who's single "Hoochie Song" debuted at #86 on Billboard. He also received lyrics of the month honors in May from thisisrealmusic.com, who previous honors included the likes of John Mayer, Pharoah Monche, and Mos Def. He is currently working on his solo album to be released later this year.
